tradition and sponsor the 2024 Jupiter Farms Christmas Parade & Craft Fair! Save the date: Saturday, December 7, 2024, starting at 11am on 160th Rd. N. a.k.a. “Rudolph Sighting”, beginning at 133rd heading east to Haynie Lane. Followed by a Craft Fair from 12-6PM at the Jupiter Elks Lodge located at 10070 W. Indiantown Rd. in the Jupiter Farms Shopping Center. The Craft Fair will also have Santa photo ops, kids’ activities, a BBQ, parade awards & more!

Parade awards will be awarded at the Jupiter Elks Lodge at on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 5:00 PM.

Parade Guidelines, Rules & Regulations

PARADE REGISTRATION: Once you submit a Christmas Parade Registration Form - all entries will be confirmed by email.

CHECK-IN/STAGING: Begins at 9:30 AM. All parade participants must be in place by 10:30 am for pre-parade judging. Details for Check-In & Staging will be provided to you via email after registering for the parade.

PARADE ROUTE: The parade will step off heading east on 160th Rd. N. a.k.a. “Rudolph Sighting” beginning at 133rd and conclude at Haynie Lane. The reviewing stand will be on the south (right) side of 160th Road North.

REGISTRATION FEE: A donation is suggested to the Jupiter Elks Angel Tree which provides gifts & clothing to local children during the holidays. For large groups additional Angels may be sponsored.

PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded at the Jupiter Elks Lodge, located at 10070 W. Indiantown Road, in the Jupiter Farms Shopping Center, on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 5:00 PM. Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Compliance with Theme, Originality, and Best Overall Decoration. An entry may only win in a single category.

Parade Guidelines, Rules & Regulations

All parade participants will be responsible for any and all accidents and injuries. The Jupiter Elks Lodge #2469, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, and Palm Beach County will not be liable. Please instruct all riders and walkers on your float to behave in a safe manner in order to avoid dangerous situations.

As the applicant for participation, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to ensure that every member of your organization or group is aware of these guidelines, rules and regulations. Please distribute this information to all riders and walkers on your float.

Clearly label or carry a sign to identify your organization or group.

All parade participants should be in place by 10:00 AM for pre-parade judging.

All entries must have an adult escort.

Take any trash with you from the staging area - these are our neighborhood streets, please don't litter!

Maintain a safe distance from the unit in front of you, approximately 2 car lengths, but try to prevent gaps.

Stay in the center of the street. The ideal parade speed is 3-4 MPH. DO NOT STOP along the parade route.

We will have people on the parade route, directing the flow. Keep it slow, keep it straight, and keep it moving!

No motorized vehicle can be driven by anyone younger than sixteen years of age and/or anyone not possessing a valid state drivers license.

Only registered and insured vehicles may participate, including OHV (Off-Highway Vehicles).

All candy and gifts must be handed out, no throwing allowed from moving vehicles or floats to spectators. Only walkers with each unit are allowed to distribute any handouts to the crowd. You go to the crowd, don’t allow the crowd come to you. Any extra handouts should be stored in a location where it is behind the vehicle’s rear axle, and easily accessible.

Parade entries that include animals are responsible for providing adequate water and shall make provisions for cleaning up animal waste. All animals must be on leash/lead and under control at all times. Please DO NOT bring an animal that is not socialized or cannot be handled in large groups and confusing situations.

Indemnification Agreement

The Participant(s) agrees to protect and save the Jupiter Elks Lodge #2469, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, and Palm Beach County harmless from any claims or causes of action of any kind or nature for physical injury to person or damage to property which may be suffered or alleged to be suffered due in whole or part to any act or omission to act of the vendor. Jupiter Elks Lodge #2469, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, and Palm Beach County is not responsible for any theft or damage that may occur.

Participant(s) certifies that he/she is properly insured for any accident which might occur in connection with the event by the vendor or anyone assisting the vendor, or any vehicle/equipment being used in connection with the event. Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold Jupiter Elks Lodge #2469, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, and Palm Beach County, its committee, and agents against harmless all loss, damage, and expense which they may sustain or become liable for on account of injury to or death of persons, or on account of damage to or destruction of property resulting in connection with the event by vendor or due to or arising in any manner from the wrongful act or negligence of the vendor.

Participant(s) certifies that they and their agents understand that this is an equestrian event and under Florida Law, an equine activity sponsor or equine professional is not liable for an injury to, or the death of, a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities. Fla. Stat. § 773.04.
